    on inspection of taking off the valley pan on my 440, I saw no traces of any type of sealant. The instructions that came with the new valley pan from fel-pro say to add a sealant at the four corners. Is this advisable or should it go back stock and dry?     440 stock head horseshoe or U shaped port....

    What is the horseshoe or U shaped port that is around the hear riser port? I am in the middle of blocking off the heat riser and when I pulled the valley pan I could see into this horseshoe port better.     I need an insulated spacer to keep the fuel from boiling in my carb. My local parts store only had the edelbrock 9266 insulator gasket for a square bore carb.     Strange noise from car....

    1967 Chrysler 300 fast top, 440 engine. It seems to run ok. I think I may have a heat soak issue with the edelbrock 1411 carb, but going to address that soon with a carb kit and a spacer. Hopefully that helps, but under hard acceleration I get this clatter..... I can't for the life of me figure...

    '67 300 440 engine issues

    Car seems to be running fine until you stop it. Some times it diesels for 1-2 seconds other times it doesn't. This is not consistent. Also at times it is hard to start after its warm. Sy i go to the store, and come back out to head home it may take 2-3 mins of 10-15 second cranks to get started...

    1967 newport trans

    Just picked up a 1967 newport with a 383. Engine runs but when placed into gear nothing happens. In reverse it moved about 6 inches very slowly then nothing. There is no movement in any other gear. It does have fluid and it is full. Any thoughts? I am new to all of this.....
