Forgot about this one. 1 owner car with 37,000 miles. Supposedly sold for $19,000. A lot for a non-SFGT or Hurst. I’m very partial to fusies.

In a search for silver interiors I stumbled upon this and added it to the list.
Anyone else have silver interior C bodies photos?

Ford and Chevy made some legendary cars for sure. And some of their engines are legendary as well. But i always preferred chrysler corporations cars be it dodge, plymouth, chrysler.Their models and body styles were always different,And the engines.440 sounds mean!!.B.B

My 1st NYB,a 77,was the exact car above. The paint has a lovely shine in the sun.Congrats on your dream, hope you have fun cleaning the leather. One of my favorite memories.B.B

Almost did buy this in 1974, $4k, seller was a dick and HEMI engine was missing.

I’m stealing this one!
Dad had a loaner exactly like this my senior year of H.S. Complete with the orange and black interior. One of my favorite cars he ever brought home. Hate to admit now how fast I had that thing going on 13 mile Rd.

Heh.Before i had the heads fixed, but the brakes had been,440,i floored mine on a stretch of road and hit 95mph until a stop sign got in my way.I was enjoying the car so much i was a little slow to act. I slammed the brakes, huge wafts of rubber smoke flew up on each side, and the heavy car dove almost into the pavement, rear sticking up.No damage, heh,a fond memory.B.B

This was a fairly common view when driving my 1968 PK21's.

"Almost did buy this in 1974, $4k, seller was a dick and HEMI engine was missing."

I really need to re-phrase that, the car was like that one, same color (and bumpers) but a 1972 and a HEMI 4spd checked via the dash VIN. Engine was removed to be built up for drag racing by a machine shop, wife got pregnant and bills came, so I take it the engine slipped into a 'Mechanics Lien' via the machine shop and disappeared. Guy wouldn't give me any lead as to what machine shop the engine went too. dick, car was very low miles too, like 2/3k I don't remember it having the cold air package as I stared at the empty engine bay. Now many will say HEMI's didn't exist in 1972 just like a 440 six barrel, Google 1972 440 six barrel and see what you find. Same goes for my friends 1968 Shelby GT350 with a 289 (1967) in it, and a 1967 steering wheel, with the (and I remember this) Shelby Los Angeles California door sill plates. I get all the stuck up Shelby know-it-alls in a tizzy when when I mention that car. Only minor net reference years ago that I could find was that 9 1968 GT350's came out of LA and went to Mexico.

:p

Seeing how I cut this article out of Hot Rod Magazine in 1978 at the library and still have it today

....I would say this car. Fast forward to 2015 at the NCACN I seen it in person for the first time. I didn't realize it was originally F6. The reason it meant so much to me even as a 10 year old I was into Mopars and in this "Road Test" it said it had a top speed of 220 mph. It was in a magazine so it had to be true....
