What header choices are there for a 66 Fury with poly 318?

Until you have to replace the starter.
Oh yes, that why I stay with exhaust manifolds. Not to mention burning up header and collector gaskets.

I would put a heat shield or tape to block the heat from the headers to the starter.

I feel like I've seen someone mention this before (Especially for the 74-78 Formals), but I don't recall an answer. Has anyone everr tried shorty headers? I know they're not AS good as long tubes but they're a lot better than manifolds...

I've used the Schumacher headers on both street and race applications. "B" 451 stroker engines. 3600# 65 Belvedere, Auto,3500 stall converter,4.10 rear 11.96@110 mph 1/4 mile. Very good product but pricey. I understand that Headman makes them too at a lower price for the big block.
