Hello,

wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I'm the owner of a mostly untouched 300 H that was basically put out of service in the St.Louis Mo. area in 1979 and was only shortly revived in the new century when it got shipped to Germany where I bought it from the 2nd owner.
Car is pretty well preserved and will stay as original as possible with about 90k miles, engine was in desperate need of an overhaul though, as well as the fiberglass parts. Hope to put it back on the road for good soon now, there were some delays part on the side of the engine builder and partly because of other project cars, so the Hurst got a bit neglected in a dark corner of the garage, but I'm eager now to finally put it back on the road now with record gas prices at the pump.:laughing4:

Nice car, I see a green column, did your car originally have a console?

You have been here quite some time, it's good to have you sharing pictures and information on your car.

I look forward to more pictures.

Thanks for the welcome. As mentioned by commando 1, this always was like most of the Hursts a column shift car; they should have produced them as console shifts only in my opinion. The color difference of the column sticks out on the pic quite a bit more than when you see the interior in person it's actually golden like the exterior contrast color; always puzzled me as well what happened here, if you examine this part you can see that it was painted after it was installed in the car.
I live in Germany, not too far from Kaiserslautern and Ramstein air base, servicemen among you surely know that area.

I see Buckets and a Buddy seat that look original to the car.

3 in 1 bench is evidently window sticker slang for buckets and a buddy seat, as I read in line #9... "BUCKET SEATS- LEFT AND RIGHT"...
 
DARN.......!!!! Did it to me again.... I saw 300H and got all ready to see a 62 300 letter car.
Your 70 300 HURST is a beauty. Thanks for showing it to us.
 
Need a better picture of the window sticker or the build sheet. There's a lot of delete's that need to be decoded on the window sticker.
 
The buckets with the buddy seat are the original so called bench buckets which are seen in the pics, there's still one reply with a few more pics "in the channel" which has to come up through moderator due to the few replies by this user I think; if it got lost I'll post them later once more; will try to upload a better copy of the window sticker; got a bit trouble with the computer at the moment though.

"Chrysler 300H two door hardtop the following items of standard equipment on this model are extra cost on some other models of this carline-440 CID TNT 4BBL engine w/dual exhaust, H.D. suspension, torqueflite transmission, 3:23 axle ratio, power steering, brakes, windows and bucket seats -left and right"

All 1970 300 Hursts came with bucket seats.

Where is the hood?


I seperated the fiberglass from the frame and had it restored/reinforced; I decided to glue the parts together with the frame installed on the car, think that's the better way to have a proper finish/lineup. At the moment it still resides in my basement.

As I looked around you guys seem to be really fanatic about old paperwork/inspection stickers etc. as myself; I think it's worth the effort to show a few items that came with the car despite my crappy computer that sometimes drives me crazy, just like right at this moment.
