74 Fury - Wiper Link Clip

Took the time to read the FSM and extract the wiper linkage system since the passenger wiper wasn’t moving. Looks like the only thing wrong is I’m missing a retaining clip. Any idea what this clip is called and where I can get one?

For Sale 77 Chrysler St. Regis - Not Mine - Atlanta GA

**not mine** I came across this while looking for not car stuff on Craigslist. This looks like a well cared for car, figured someone might be interested. I am in extreme bad health selling my vintage auto collection. -... #Ad Text MATCHING NUMBERS 1977 Chrysler Brougham, St Regis...

    8 1/4 Diff Service

I have no clue how long it’s been since the last diff service on my Fury. Should I suck the oil out with a pump and put new stuff in or should I pop the cover, fully drain it and inspect the insides? If I pop the cover I already have a new fel pro gasket and black RTV for the reassembly.

    Brake Refresh - 74 Fury

I was losing a bit of brake fluid over time and the master and booster looked rough. Sure enough the master was leaking back into the booster and the booster was/is full of fluid. Getting the booster unbolted was rough. I think if I had to do it again I’d take the front seat out to allow for...

    Fresh shocks on the Fury

I had some time this weekend so I swapped in new shocks on the Fury. Rears went in exactly to spec, although I almost couldn’t get the top bolts torqued down right enough with my my shortish 3/8 torque wrench. On the fronts it looks like the upper bushing is different in the FSM than what comes...

    Plastic Headlight Bezel Rechroming

On my 74 Fury I have two intact headlight bezels, but the finish is shot. Should I keep trolling ebay for ones in better shape or is there somewhere I can send them to get refinished?

    74 Fury III Planning

While I have plenty of basic mechanical things on my list that will come before either of these items I wanted to get some opinions about two things because I like to plan for the future. Air Conditioning The A/C hasn't worked since I purchased the car and at least part of the issue is one of...

    First Ride of 2020

After spending a lot of garage time replacing the oil pan, I got the car out for a nice, bright, warm Georgia mid day drive. Car seemed happy with fresh oil and the silicone valve cover gaskets seem to have resolved that leak & burn situation. I picked up a multimeter while I was out because I...

74 Fury - Steering Linkage Removal

Finally had some time to get the car situation and get ready to address the beat up oil pan I posted about earlier. Going through the FSM for the procedure to remove it, I need to remove the steering linkage. In order to that it indicates I need to remove both tie rod ends and do this with a...

    Banged up oil pan

Oil pan on my Fury has a big old dent in it. Do I need to replace it or who cares?

    Valve Cover Gaskets - ‘74 400

My 74 Fury has two valve cover gaskets that drip oil onto the exhaust manifolds and make a stink. Reading through other thread multiple people recommended Real Tennessee Gaskets so I’m giving them a go. Started on the driver’s side last night. I figure I’ll drive it for a bit with one side done...

    Anyone use ramps?

Does anyone use drive on ramps in their home garage for a quick lift when wheel related work isn’t needed? Any brand and model recommendations?

74 Sliding Caliper Front Disc - Lubrication Points?

I'm replacing the seized front calipers on my Monaco and the FSM doesn't mention lubricating anything as part of the installation, but it sure looks like these surfaces should have some kind of lube on them. It also seems like those rubber o-rings will get immediately destroyed. What am I...

    74-78 Cold Case Radiator Install

Back in the summer when I first got my small block Monaco it turned out the radiator was trash. There were no after market units available that fit and I also had a difficult time locating a unit that was suitable for recoring and someone to recore it. I posted in the Cold Case forum and they...

    74-78 Radiator Comparison

I've spent a lot of time with my 74 Monaco's radiator so I figured I'd post some stuff in case it was useful to anyone else. I have a 74 Monaco coupe 360. When I got it the radiator core was shot and both tanks were damaged to the point of having cracks. It is labeled 3692946 59538 on the...

Bending/adjusting lower radiator support 74 Monaco

The lower radiator support on my Monaco is tweaked and the bend is preventing me from dropping in a new radiator because it impacts the lower tank. I was thinking the easiest way to bend this back would be to put a jack in between the frame and the radiator support and crank it a little bit...

Ignition Lock Cylinder - 74 Fury

Parked my 74 Fury a few weeks ago. Went to go fire it up today, key goes in, buzzer goes on, ignition cylinder won't turn. I jiggled the wheel to no avail. Should I spray some penetrating oil in the key hole to see if something is just bound up? What am I missing here or do I have a...

    74 Monaco Coupe Project

Starting a thread to show what I'm up to with my project. Today I installed a radiator I had re-cored locally by B&L Radiator nearby in Alpharetta GA. Also installed was a new upper and lower radiator hose. The upper hose fit perfectly. The lower hose that was listed as fitting was two...

74 Fury III Added to the family

I wasn't exactly looking for another car, but this one popped up locally and I had a line on some garage space opening up as well. I went to check it out and it came home with me. It's a 400 2 barrel, manual A/C, straight, pretty much no rust, new fuel system from tank to carb, new radiator...
